Frequently asked questions.
If you have a question that you don’t see below, then we would love to hear from you.
How far in advance should I start looking at dresses?
We always recommend brides to try on gowns 9-12 months before their wedding date to ensure there is plenty of time when the gown arrives for any necessary alterations or changes on the gown.
Do I have to book an appointment?
So that we can give each bride our undivided attention appointments are highly recommended. With each appointment you will have one on one time with Tessa where we will work closely with you to find the perfect gown to meet your body shape, style and personality.
Who can I bring with me?
You can bring whom ever you like, mums, sisters, friends or bridesmaids. We however recommend no more than 4 people, we have found that the opinions of a trusted few always make it easier for you.
Our price ranges from £1000 to £3000 for our ready to order bridal gowns. We do occasionally have a range of sample gowns that are for sale so please get in touch for more information or view our sale gowns page.
Do you only sell bridal gowns?
Alongside our beautiful range of bridal gowns we also stock a selection of bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses and communion dresses.

Gowns can take 8- 16 weeks to arrive at the studio depending on what time of year it is.
Will I need alterations?
You may require alterations made to your gown to ensure the perfect fit. These will be carried out by our lovely seamstress and your alteration appointment will be approximately 9 weeks before your wedding day. Until then, we will safely store your dress at the Bridal Studio.
Are all your gowns on your website?
We try and keep our website up to date with our current gowns but we often get new gowns so it is best to book an appointment to explore our range further. If there is a dress from one of our designers that you would love to try, please let us know and we may be able to order this in for you.
